Overview

/welcome settings opens an interactive dashboard for building a custom welcome message, sent by DM or posted in a channel when a member joins your server.

settings

No options. Running the command opens a dashboard with pages for Delivery, Content, Style, Footer, and Advanced settings, alongside a live preview of the message.

Dashboard settings

The dashboard is split into five pages: Delivery, Content, Style, Footer, and Advanced.

Delivery page

A master toggle turns welcome messages on or off. Choose delivery mode: DM (default) or a specific channel. In channel mode, pick the channel from a list of your server's text channels.

Content page

Set the embed title, an optional link for the title, and separate message bodies for DM delivery and channel delivery, so you can write different copy depending on where the message appears.

Style page

Set an accent color, a large image, and a thumbnail image for the welcome embed.

Set footer text and toggle whether a timestamp is shown.

Advanced page

Set a footer icon and add custom embed fields (up to 25) as name/value pairs.

Behavior

The dashboard shows a live preview of the welcome embed as you edit it.
A Reset all button clears every field back to blank, after a confirmation step.
Only the admin who opened the dashboard can interact with it.
